Medicine and Pharmacy University of Iasi
The Medicine and Pharmacy University of Iasi is one of the oldest educational places in Romania. It was founded in 1879 as a Faculty of Medicine, later being associated with other two institutions which complete the medical instruction area - The Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dentistry.
In 1991 the institute received the status of University. Later on, the Faculty of Medical Bioengineerig was also included being the only one of its kind in Romania. Today, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi is proud of its valuable professors, the material basis and the modern technique, appropriate for the didactic and Scientific research.
Entry requirements
In order to apply for studying at the Medicine and Pharmacy University of Iasi, the foreign students need to submit the following documents:
- Application form (please contact info@ universities.ro for the latest version);
- For undergraduate studies: Baccalaureate Diploma or equivalent-certified copy;
- For graduate applicants or PhD: The graduation diploma-certified copy;
- Academic records translated into Romanian, English or French;
- English language certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge or equivalent);
- Birth certificate - certified copy;
- Marriage certificate (if the applicant's last name changed subsequent to marriage) - certified copy;
- Passport - certified copy;
- Medical certificate;
- Four passport - size photos;
- The PhD applicants must also submit: Curriculum vitae and List of publications.
All applicants must submit the original of scolastic records such as the degree certificate acting as a proof of study. This documents must be endorsed by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research or the appropriate legal authority and by the Romanian Embassy in the applicant's country.
